Mimi Spring Sample Sale with Rae Jones

Hello everyone!

It is that time of year again – the much awaited Mimi sample sale!
We have had so many enquiries about when we are going to hold the next sale and we are pleased to announce that it is finally here. This time we are joined by Rae Jones – bags and shoes galore…what more could you ask for? So, please do come by and stock up on classic Mimi must-haves! All the details are below and we look forward to seeing you there.

Please note that this sale is strictly cash only – there are cash points along Bethnal Green Road. Nearest tube is Bethnal Green on the Central Line.

Lisa loves us!

This week we spotted our leather Rudy laptop case in the arms of the beautiful Lisa Snowdon. Lisa, who is currently in South Africa soaking up the sun, was introduced to us by her sister who is a Mimi admirer herself.

Rudy is available in beautifully soft leather, as modelled by Lisa, and lighter weight water-resistant oilskin with leather trim (see below). It is roomy enough to comfortably fit a laptop (even a 17 inch), along with documents and other office related accoutrements. Perfect for the ever busy globetrotter such as Lisa.

Spotted – at London Fashion Week!

We hope that all our lovely Mimi fans are doing well and enjoying the clement weather. Surely spring must be around the corner!

Tilly Macalister-Smith, Fashion Features Assistant at Vogue, wanted something to hold important documents during her busy time at London Fashion Week. She came across our 15″ camel Laptop Case and thought it would be ideal. Tilly was spotted by Grazia at a show whilst she was carrying our case and we love how it looks!

Behind The Scenes at the S/S’12 Photo Shoot

We thought we would give you all a little peek at the behind the scenes action at our Spring/Summer ’12 photo shoot. We went up to picturesque Bath on what we were hoping would be a sunny spring weekend, but it turned into a sunny but bitterly cold or snowy day. Well, at least we had some of our colourful pieces to help brighten up the day. Please note the models footwear… fur lined boots for spring anyone? Enjoy x

What’s In Your Bag Update

We received an email from Monika, a customer from Australia, who wanted to show us what she carries in her camel Peggy. Monika says that she has been using Peggy constantly ever since she got it and that is something we love to hear!

We also heard from Sarah, a loyal customer of ours, who has kindly sent in images of her lovely 5 month old tan Ada bag and what it holds. Sarah has been collecting Mimi pieces for some time – see also the yellow Patrick and red Elmo card holders making their home inside Ada. Sarah says her Ada is the idea bag for a student as she can go hands free!
