We thought we would give you all a little peek at the behind the scenes action at our Spring/Summer ’12 photo shoot. We went up to picturesque Bath on what we were hoping would be a sunny spring weekend, but it turned into a sunny but bitterly cold or snowy day. Well, at least we had some of our colourful pieces to help brighten up the day. Please note the models footwear… fur lined boots for spring anyone? Enjoy x
What’s In Your Bag Update
We received an email from Monika, a customer from Australia, who wanted to show us what she carries in her camel Peggy. Monika says that she has been using Peggy constantly ever since she got it and that is something we love to hear!
We also heard from Sarah, a loyal customer of ours, who has kindly sent in images of her lovely 5 month old tan Ada bag and what it holds. Sarah has been collecting Mimi pieces for some time – see also the yellow Patrick and red Elmo card holders making their home inside Ada. Sarah says her Ada is the idea bag for a student as she can go hands free!
We hope you all enjoy these photos as much as we do when we receive them. x
What’s In Your Bag Follow-up!
We received an email from Sarah Eley who was kind enough to send us her WIYB photos. The bag pictured is her old Otis bag, along with Patrick the cardholder, Kitty and Rosie. Otis must be over 4 years old now. She also included a photo of her daughter’s bag and what the little one carries around.

We love hearing from all of you, so keep writing into us and don’t forget to send us photos of WIYB!x
What’s In Your Bag?
Here at Mimi HQ, we get a lot of questions regarding the size of our bags and purses and what kind of things will fit in them. So we took a few photos to show you.
We have shown the yellow Hilda in use as a mobile phone and iPod holder. It has been photographed with a Blackberry, but an iPhone also fits comfortably. You can still fit notes and cards in the other inner compartment, and coins in the back zipped pocket.

Parker looks small but can easily fit some of your essentials when you don’t want to fish around in your bag for loose items.

Peggy is your perfect bag when you want to travel light and only need to carry some necessities.

Alice is ideal for a night out and easily fits some make-up and a phone.

Clementine is the bag for all of you who can’t afford to leave home without a fair few items.

Gracie is another elegant option for a night out, with a sneaky compartment at the bottom to keep your change in.

If you don’t enjoy your earphones getting entangled with all of the stuff in your bag, then use George to store them neatly like Mimi does. This keeps them clean and within easy reach.

Do keep in mind that these are only suggestions, there are no rules as to how you should use your Mimi bag or purse. Show us how you use yours!
